Our God Moment Part II

We went to Vermont for the week to celebrate our anniversary. Let's just say, our eight hour ride home was quite an adventure with the wind and the rain. We've never driven so much with the high speed wipers on.

So we finally made it to Hershey and we had our school Gala in about an hour. We decided to drop off the keys to the cabin we were staying in and turned down the street leading to the student home we needed to go to. It was VERY windy! We made it about 50 feet when suddenly there was a burst of sparks up to left which made us stop. We believe in angels, but this burst made us stop. Suddenly, the tree in front of us fell across the street. Had the burst not happen, or had we been 2 seconds earlier, then we would have been crushed. It seems that God has plans for us for a little while longer.

This picture doesn't do it justice. We are still shook up about it.

We went back the next day to get a better picture of how large this tree was. God is good!
