Poligon and Polichan

It was great seeing Alex and then Rachel over the Christmas Break. We did a lot of hanging out which is what we all needed. Alex scoring big time on Christmas Day! Took in a Hershey Bears game. Even though they couldn't be here at the same time, they were actually able to connect at the airport in Washington D.C.

We went to Vermont for the week to celebrate our anniversary. Let's just say, our eight hour ride home was quite an adventure with the wind and the rain. We've never driven so much with the high speed wipers on. So we finally made it to Hershey and we had our school Gala in about an hour. We've made our way up Vermont and we are so thankful for Tim and Sherry Leary! They have been so kind to us and have let us stay at their place in Vermont. The drive was beautiful and it is a trip we will never forget. We were in downtown Stowe. What a beautiful chapel. Who doesn't like a downtown General Store! East Coast! At the Von Trapp Brewery! The Hills are Alive! Amazing food! And amazing beer! We made it to the Leary's Cabin! So Cozy!! So beautiful! Yerp!

We are finally off for our Winter Break and we decided to go to Vermont for our 37th anniversary. More to come about that. We stopped in Stowe for the night and will head out tomorrow. Had a sudden snowstorm last night that lasted for an hourl Here we go! Winter Wonderland! Our first stop. On our way! Our inn for the night. Dinner. An amazing Italian dinner. Pasta is my Kryptonite. We don't normally have these in California.

Wow, it's been about 20 years since we've seen Scott and over the Thanksgiving break he came to visit us. We've stayed connected over the years through social media and FaceTime, but have never actually gotten together. This is our second year experiencing Fall on the East Coast (although some don't consider Pennsylvania at EAST COAST!) Coming from California, this IS East Coast for us. The Homestead is where Milton Hershey was born and it is where President Gurt and his wife live.
