A busy week training!

We started our Houseparent training this week and it has been quite a whirlwind. We had a full day of First Aid/CPR classes, a 9 person van driving training and testing, shadowed a high school home, and we had a benefits orientation. We have a lot information to process but we are excited to be here!

This is the hall that gets used for Chapel and other events. It is like an opera house.

This is the 9 passenger van we had to learn how to drive forward and in reverse through an S-shaped coned course.

We have fireflies! They put on a show for us!

We had some crazy thunderstorms! It was POURING rain.
