We have been super busy covering student homes and learning a lot. We have met the new 5th graders that are entering Middle School at Milton Hershey School. It is a different school and campus with more expectations in the student homes. Middle School students have to wash their own clothes and even iron their chapel uniforms.
At chapel, we sang "My Lighthouse" and some other songs we knew from singing at LACS and the sermon was on "Accepting our differences" as Jesus washed the feet of His disciples.
The students really enjoy going to the pool to swim and see their friends. Some students also were able to Zoom with family members on Sunday. We keep feeling like we're at camp when checking for lights out and making students are in their beds at night. During our three days off, we slept A LOT and did some shopping at Costco and Target. We are mostly in t-shirts and shorts/capri at home with the students, so we bought some new graphic t-shirts. Apparently, Bluey is very popular with the students! So cute! Januck bought at "Frog and Toad" t-shirt. Haha.

We got these during our training and were't sure what they were.

Now we know what they are...cell phone holders!!

We found a place in town that makes bentos! Freshly made!

We are used to earthquakes but NOT tornado warnings.

This is one of the houses we were covering. It ended up being a full double rainbow.

They apparently don't call them Speed Bumps on the East Coast.

This is in the backyard of one of the homes.

Aw, cute. They come so close to the house sometimes.
