Long Time, No See

Yes, it has been awhile since we have written on our blog. It has been a busy month starting with:

Yup! Covid. Joanna got sick first and then Januck. It was not a fun experience and we had all of the symptoms possible. We got our flu shot yesterday and the kids have all gotten theirs so hopefully that won't be passes around in our student homes.

Next, we moved again! We are finally in the middle division which saves us about 40-50 minutes of commuting on weekdays. We actually moved into one of the homes that we cover so we are able to sleep in our own beds when we are there. In our 12 day rotation, half of the days we are able to sleep in our new place which includes the days that we are off. Here is our new address:

Since we only have one car now, we decided to get a license plate that reflects both of us so we are the Rollie Pollies!

Januck is now getting his nails done by students. The trend started in one house and once the other houses saw it, then they wanted to paint his nails. He has had them done three times and will probably have more to come.

This is Mr. Happy toast. The bread was split at the bottom which looked like a smiley face so Januck carved out a couple of eyes and a nose. The students were not impressed.

The beard tail is back. Januck is not sure how long he is going to let it grow but he got a compliment on it by a student's sister today.

This is the scenery we envisioned we would see on the East Coast! Fall is in the air.
